Reflect & Re-set
When was the last time you practiced Reflection...

A new day, a new week, a new month is a time for re-setting and reflection. But what does that mean?

When we can pause with our thoughts and reflect on what has worked, was has not worked and where we want to be, we can then make some subtle shifts to re-set our behaviours, attitudes, practices and thoughts.  Without reflection, we are unable to re-set. So we invite you to pause and take a moment to reflect this month on how far you have come and if you need to 'let go' of something that may be holding you back from being whole, being happy, being healthy, being full.

We are here to always remind you to wind down and connect back to your heart centre, the place where you are whole, where you are one with all.  Keep doing the reflection and re-setting, and make it a part of your daily or weekly ritual.

Now to some FOOD & RECIPE sharing.

Our Recipe of the Month features our #organicallygrown Beans from the Farm...

We had a beautiful abundant first season of our green beans on the farm. Having enjoyed them fresh, we then let the mature ones seed on the stalk, and then used the remaining ones to cook a hearty warm bean stew.  Every ingredient was homegrown (except for the carrots as they are not ready to harvest...)

A great dish to cook a big pot of and have over a couple of days as the weather gets cooler, best enjoyed with a serve of rice - pilaf or crusty sourdough-bread.

Recipe:

800 grams pre-soaked or 2 x canned cooked organic cannelini beans (rinse well)

4 medium carrots

2 cups fresh chopped tomatoes

2 cups fresh chopped chard/

silver-beet

1 onion diced

4 tbsp tomato paste

1/8 cup olive oil (to sauté) and extra virgin olive oil to garnish at the end

1/2 tsp cracked pepper

1 tsp sea salt

1 litre filtered water

 Directions:

Firstly sauté the onion and carrot in olive oil, then add in beans, tomato, tomato paste, seasoning, water and chard is last. Allow it to simmer on medium heat for about 45 minutes to 1 hour and check if you need more salt or pepper to your taste buds and add accordingly…serve with your favourite bread or rice! It’s the perfect vegan/vegetarian meal, high in fibre & protein.

A true farm-to-fork and farm-to-table experience.

We do hope you give this dish a try...
