Hello Thursday and Hello everyone!
So who’s a fan of pasta with basil pesto? We are and here’s my simple version with home-grown organic basil. Remember it’s a vegan version so if you like cheese feel free to ad parmesan of your choice.
Recipe:
1 full cup fresh organic basil (from my garden)
1/2 cup organic pine-nuts
Juice of half lemon
1 clove garlic (or 2 cloves if you love garlic)
1/2-1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil Absolute Organic
1 tbsp nutritional yeast (adds a cheese like taste)
Blend it all in your Vitamix or blender and your ready to mix it thru your pasta…enjoy!
