Homemade Rhubarb & Strawberry Jam – Compote:
Makes 2 small to medium Jars
(keep refrigerated and seal well)
2 bunches organic rhubarb (stalks removed)
2 cups frozen organic strawberries
2 cups filtered water
3/4 cup organic maple syrup @pureharvest
(Basically place all items in a saucepan on low heat and let it all simmer until all the liquid (water dissolves) and you have a thick type compote texture) can be enjoyed with scones, waffles, ice-cream, yoghurt or on it’s own! My absolute favorite sweet creation – I’ve made it several times now and I’m happy to share with you all
