As promised here’s the finished product for my #bibersalçası also known as Turkish Red Pepper Paste
Not sure if this image is aesthetically pleasing or not, so I wasn’t really sure to post it or not…
My recipe and method is below:
15 organic red bell peppers (sweet)
2 tsp sweet paprika
2 tbsp organic apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp pink salt
Firstly chargrill your peppers as per my previous post, secondly remove stalks, skin and seeds once grilled. Place in a high speed blender I used my Vitamix with all the other remaining ingredients. Once blended cook on stove low heat for 25 min and then place in your jar. Cool down and refrigerate for later use.
I’m actually cooking eggplant tonight, and using my red pepper sauce, it’s perfect with any #vegetarian or #veganrecipes
