Recipe (makes 8 donuts)
1 cup organic plain flour @kiallapurefoods
1/3 cup organic coconut sugar (powdered down)
1 1/2 tsp baking powder organic or aluminum free
1/4 tsp nutmeg organic
1/4 tsp cinnamon organic
1/2 cup organic almond milk @pureharvest
1/2 tsp organic Apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract organic (alcohol free)
4 tbsp melted organic coconut oil
1 flax egg
Dark organic chocolate and coco oil for melting (over a double boiler)
1/8 cup raw almonds sliced roughly to decorate
Simply mix all dry ingredients in one bowl and heat all wet ingredients on low, do not overheat should only be warm. Then whisk all items together. Scoop into your donut rings, this made a total of 8 donuts. Bake in pre-heated oven for 15 -20 minutes on 180 degrees. Meanwhile melt your chocolate and allow to cool down before you decorate donuts.
