Wholeness = Wellness
This month's theme is About Wholeness...

We all want to feel Whole - we all want to be well. How does that look for you?

Wellness is Wholeness and here's what we mean by this. It's a feeling, it's not something to be attained. To become fully whole, we must be ready to receive into wholeness. When we discover the path of wholeness we become open, we let go, we surrender. That is true wellness, surrendering to the now, the present, to all that you are and all that you have. 

Here at Vitalityandmore our vision is to inspire you to return to wholeness as a feeling of wellness, as a feeling of joy, happiness, health, abundance and more.

 

 

7 Steps to Wholeness:

We believe that feeling whole, being well is our birth right. But since we are constantly evolving, expanding, healing and growing - so to is our wholeness.

• Step 1

Always honour where you are in life, your health, your home, your wellbeing and tune into it daily with a heart full of gratitude. Gratitude is the holy grail of wholeness and wellness.

• Step 2

Return to heart centred living, return to mindfulness and meditation when you need some guidance to feel whole again. 

• Step 3

Surrender and let go of who you think you are or ought to be, this will allow you to return to wholeness; remove your ego persona and live from your heart.

• Step 4

Stay connected to your mind, body, spirit for true wholeness to emerge. A great way to practice this is through meditation, visualisations, hypnotherapy and yoga.

• Step 5

Be consistent and patient with your 'self'. Show compassion to your 'self' and tune into what feels good. You will know.

• Step 6

Have self-awareness with all that you do. Use your intuition and observation to guide you to the place of wholeness.

• Step 7

Learn to love your 'self' through it all, forgive your 'self' for when you were not feeling whole and well and focus on finding joy and wholeness in the little things in life.

Now to some FOOD & RECIPE sharing.

Our Recipe of the Month is our Wholesome Vegan - Plant-based Baked Donuts; since it's the Easter holidays - then now is as good a time as any to bake these! They're a great treat.

 

These Vegan Baked Chocolate Iced Donuts are perfect for your morning or afternoon tea treat and the best sweet treat for your Easter holidays...

 

Recipe (makes 8 donuts)
1 cup organic plain or wholewheat flour 
1/3 cup organic coconut sugar (powdered down)
1 1/2 tsp baking powder 
1/4 tsp nutmeg organic
1/4 tsp cinnamon organic
1/2 cup organic almond milk 
1/2 tsp organic Apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract organic (alcohol free)
4 tbsp melted organic coconut oil
1 flax egg
Dark organic chocolate and coco oil for melting (over a double boiler)
1/8 cup raw almonds sliced roughly to decorate
Simply mix all dry ingredients in one bowl and heat all wet ingredients on low, do not overheat should only be warm. Then whisk all items together. Scoop into your donut rings, this made a total of 8 donuts. Bake in pre-heated oven for 15 -20 minutes on 180 degrees. Meanwhile melt your chocolate and allow to cool down before you decorate donuts.
